The historic pediatric medical breakthroughs of the Children's Hospital are commemorated in a 100-foot-long interpretive wall that is prominently located in the lobby of the hospital's new building. Strategically situated under a specially commissioned mural by noted artist Sol LeWitt, the wall includes graphics and audio-visual programs that tell the story of the hospital in six different time periods. Physicians, staff, visitors, and patients view the wall as they enter the new building and when traveling to a nearby performance space and children's garden.
